Process 2

1

Press the A1 button and turn off its lamp. The A2
button LED remains lighted.
(CH1 audio insert is released and only CH2 audio
insert editing is performed.)

2

Set the edit points of VTR1 and VTR2.

3

Operate the audio mixer in such a way that the
VTR1 output signals (which are supplied to INPUT
A of the audio mixer) are output from the MIXER
CH1 OUT connector and the VTR2 CH1 output
signals (input to INPUT B of the audio mixer) are
output from the MIXER CH2 OUT connector.

4

Press the AUTO EDIT button to execute editing.
When edit recording is initiated at the IN point, operate the audio mixer to gradually change the MIXER CH2
OUT output from the CH1 output signals of VTR2 (internal memory output, audio mixer INPUT B input) to the
output signals of VTR1 (audio mixer INPUT B input). (This operation is called cross-fading.)
