This selects the method used to output the VITC which is
superimposed onto the output video signal.
0: During recording:

The input time code set by setup menu item No.570 (REGEN
SEL) or the TC generator switch is output as the VITC.
During playback:
The time code recorded in the SBC area is output as VITC.

1: During recording:

The time code detected from among the input video signals is
output as VITC.
During playback:
The time code recorded in the VAUX area is output as VITC.

<Note>
The time code detected from among the input video signals is
automatically output as VAUX when pictures are recorded.

be used when the REGEN/PRESET switch has been set to the
REGEN position.

2: The LTC in the TC input is used in the regeneration mode.
3: The sub-code TC is used in the regeneration mode when the

OPERATION MODE switch is set to INT.

<Note>
The VTR1 TC can be set only on the VTR2 side.

This selects whether the phase correction for the LTC generated
by the TCG is to be controlled.
0: Phase correction is not controlled.
1: Phase correction is controlled.
