Prise de photos
✤ Vous pouvez prendre des photos en mode REC et
conserver les images sur cassette. Cette fonction
est utile lorsque vous voulez prendre un instantané
d’un sujet tandis que vous vous servez du
caméscope.
✤ Si vous souhaitez prendre une image figée avec
une meilleure résolution, basculez en mode
(PHOTO) (reportez-vous à la page 99).
✤ Vous pouvez prendre des photos en utilisant la
télécommande.
✤ Vous pouvez rechercher des images figées enregistrées sur une
cassette (reportez-vous à la page 76).
1. Allumez votre appareil en plaçant le sélecteur de mise sous
tension sur le mode REC.
■ Le témoin PAUSE s’affiche sur l’écran LCD.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton PHOTO <PHOTO> à mi-course pour faire
la mise au point.
■ Le témoin s’affiche sur l’écran LCD.
3. En l’intervalle de deux secondes, appuyez, en l’enfonçant
complètement, sur le bouton PHOTO <PHOTO> puis relâchez-le
pour enregistrer l’image.
Si vous ne souhaitez pas enregistrer, relâchez le bouton PHOTO
<PHOTO> avant de l’enfoncer complètement.
■ L'enregistrement de l’image figée sur la cassette prend environ
6 ~ 7 secondes.
4. Votre caméscope revient en mode PAUSE.
Remarques
✤ Appuyer sur le bouton PHOTO lors de l’enregistrement interrompt
l’enregistrement et sauvegarde l’image figée prise sur le moment.
Il faut environ 6 à 7 secondes pour sauvegarder l’image avant que
l’enregistrement puisse être repris.
✤ Vous pouvez utiliser la télécommande pour prendre une photo au
moyen du bouton PHOTO <PHOTO> de votre télécommande.
En appuyant sur le bouton PHOTO <PHOTO> de votre
télécommande, vous enregistrez l’image figée en même temps
que vous effectuez une mise au point automatique.

Taking Photos
✤ You may take still images while in REC mode and
store the images on tape. This function is useful
when you want to take a snapshot of a subject while
you are using the Camcorder.
✤ If you want to take a higher resolution still image,
switch to (CAMERA) mode (refer to page 99).
✤ You can take photos using the remote control.
✤ You can search still pictures recorded on a tape (refer
to page 76).
1. Turn your camcorder on by setting the Power Switch to REC
mode.
■ The STBY indicator appears on the LCD monitor.
2. Press the PHOTO button halfway down to focus the image.
■ The indicator appears on the LCD monitor.
3. Within 2 seconds, fully press down the PHOTO button and then
release it to record the picture.
If you do not want to record, release the PHOTO button before
fully pressing it down.
■ It takes about 6 ~ 7 seconds to record the still image onto the
tape.
4. The camcorder returns to STBY (Stand-by) mode.
✤ Pressing the PHOTO button while recording stops the recording
and saves the still image captured at that moment. It takes approx.
6 ~ 7 seconds to save the image and then resumes the recording.
✤ You can use the remote control to take a photo by using the
PHOTO button on the remote control. Pressing the PHOTO button
on the remote control records the still image at once with automatic
focusing.
