Connexion à un ordinateur avec un câble USB
✤ En utilisant le câble USB, vous pouvez brancher
votre caméscope à un ordinateur prenant en
charge ce type de connexion.
✤ Utilisez le câble USB fourni pour une connexion à
votre ordinateur.
✤ Un câble USB permettant une connexion USB est
fourni avec le caméscope. Utilisez le câble fourni
pour une connexion USB rapide.Il se peut que
vous deviez installer le logiciel du pilote.
■ Configuration du système de l’ordinateur
✓ Processeur: Intel (ou compatible) Pentium II
400MHz ou, plus rapide, PC
✓ Système d'exploitation: Windows 98SE, ME,
XP, 2000
✓ Mémoire principale: plus de 128 MB de mémoire vive
✓ Port USB
■ Installation du logiciel fourni
✓ Ne branchez pas votre appareil à un ordinateur avant d’avoir installé
le programme.
✓ Les instructions suivantes sont fondées sur le système d’exploitation
Windows 98SE.
1. Insérez le CD d’installation de logiciel fourni avec cet appareil dans le
lecteur de CD ROM.
■ L’écran d’installation s’affiche sur l'écran de votre ordinateur.
2. Si l’écran d’installation ne s’affiche pas automatiquement, cliquez sur
Run <Exécuter> dans le menu Windows Start <Démarrer> puis ouvrez
le fichier SETUP.EXE pour démarrer l’installation.
■ Si votre lecteur CD-ROM est positionné sur D: tapez D:\setup.exe
dans la boîte de dialogue RUN <EXECUTER> puis appuyez sur
Enter <Entrée> sur votre clavier.
3. Cliquez sur l’une des icônes figurant dans la liste ci-dessous pour
installer le logiciel sélectionné.
■ Pilote du caméscope: Pilote USB pour le disque amovible, pilote
USB permettant de relier l’appareil photo à l’ordinateur
■ Programmes: DirectX 9.0a, Media Player 9.0, DVC Media 5.1,
Photo Editor, MS Formatter, Acrobat Reader, Q.Time Player
Remarques
✤ Ne branchez pas votre caméscope à un ordinateur en utilisant à la fois
des câbles DV et USB. Il risquerait de ne pas fonctionner correctement.
✤ L’appareil prend en charge l'USB 2.0 à haut débit et le DVC prend en
charge le transfert de données USB 1.1.

✓ Do not connect your device to a PC before installing the program.
✓ The following instructions are based on Windows 98SE operating
system.
1. Insert the Software CD provided with this product into the CD-ROM
drive.
■ The installation screen appears on your PC monitor.
2. If the installation screen does not automatically appear, click “Run” on
the Windows “Start” menu and execute the SETUP.EXE file to begin
the installation.
■ If your CD-ROM drive is set to “D:” drive, type “D:\setup.exe” in the
RUN… dialog and press Enter on your keyboard.
3. Click on the icons listed below to install the selected software.
■ DVC Driver: USB Removable Disk Driver, USB PC Camera Driver
■ Applications: DirectX 9.0a, Media Player 9.0, DVC Media 5.1,
Photo Editor, MS Formatter, Acrobat Reader, Q.Time Player
✤ Do not connect the camcorder to a PC using both DV and USB cables.
It may not operate properly.
✤ DSC supports high-speed USB 2.0 and the DVC supports USB 1.1
data transfer.
