Troubleshooting
Symptom Explanation/Solution
Playback screen
interrupted
unexpectedly.
 Check the Power supply (Battery Pack or AC
Power Adapter) is properly connected and stable.
Cannot play back
a recorded DVD-
RW/+RW/-R/+R DL
disc.
 A disc with data that had been recorded using
other devices may not properly work with this
DVD Camcorder.
 A DVD-RW disc recorded in VR mode cannot
be played back using a recorder that does not
support VR mode. Refer to the user’s manual of
playback device to check compatibility.
Cannot play back
a recorded DVD-
RW/+RW/-R/+R DL
disc on a PC.
 Clean the disc using a cleaning cloth.
 Finalize the disc (except DVD+RW).
Pushing the
[OPEN] switch
does not open the
Disc Cover.
 Check the Power supply (Battery Pack or AC
Power Adapter) is properly connected and stable.
 Detach the Battery Pack from the DVD
Camcorder and install it again.
 Make sure the Battery Pack is charged.
 Disc fanalisation was interrupted by turning the
DVD Camcorder off. Turn the DVD Camcorder
on, and take out the disc after finalizing the disc.
Cannot close the
Disc Cover.
 Make sure the hand strap is not entangled.
 Make sure the disc was inserted properly.
 When the cover is not closed by an exceptional
case, please contact the local service center.

 Vérifiez le branchement et la stabilité de l’
alimentation (bloc-piles ou adaptateur CA).
Ne peut lire un
disque DVDRW/+
RW/-R/+R DL
enregistré.
 Un disque contenant des données a été
enregistré sur un appareil qui pourrait être
incompatible avec ce DVD caméscope.
 Un disque DVD-RW enregistré en mode VR ne
peut être lu avec un lecteur incompatible avec le
mode VR. Reportez-vous au manuel d’utilisation
du lecteur pour en vérifier la compatibilité.
Impossible de lire
un DVD-RW/
+RW/-R/+R DL
enregistré sur un
lecteur PC.
 Nettoyez le disque avec un chiffon doux.
 Finalisez le disque (sauf DVD+RW).
Appuyer sur la
touche [OPEN]
n’ouvre pas le
compartiment à
disque.
 Vérifiez le branchement et la stabilité de l’
alimentation (bloc-piles ou adaptateur CA).
 Enlevez le bloc-piles du DVD caméscope et
réinstallez.
 Veillez à ce que le bloc-piles soit chargé.
 La finalisation du disque a été interrompue en
éteignant le DVD caméscope. Mettez le DVD
caméscope sous tension et retirez le disque
après sa finalisation.
Impossible de
refermer le
compartiment à
disque.
 Veillez à ce que la dragonne ne soit pas
enchevêtrée.
 Vérifiez l’insertion du disque.
 Veuillez contacter votre centre de sevice
technique si le couvercle demeure ouvert dans
un cas exceptionnel.
