Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
 Before contacting a Samsung authorized service center, perform the
following simple checks.
They may save you the time and expense of an unnecessary call.
Self Diagnosis Display in <Camera/Player> Modes
Display Blinking Informs that... Action
Slow
The Battery Pack is
almost discharged.
Change to a charged one.
No disc! Slow
There is no disc in
DVD Camcorder.
Insert a disc.
Disc full! Slow There is not enough
memory to record.
Change to a new disc.
Erase recorded image.
Bad Disc! Slow Inserted disc is not
recognized by the
DVD Camcorder.
Eject and re-insert the disc.
Try another disc.
Format the disc. (DVD-RW/+RW)
Finalized
disc!
Slow The disc is finalized. To record on a DVD-RW/+RW disc,
unfinalize it.
Cover is
opened!
Slow Cover is opened. Close the cover.
Recovering
Data -
While recording,
if the power is
suddenly turned
off, the file writing is
not properly done.
When you turn on
the power, you can
see the message,
<Recovering
Data>.
Don’t eject a disc when the disc
detection is in progress because
the data recovery stops.
Follow the directions displayed on
the screen with taking care of the
items below.
 The data recovery completes
within a few minutes but
sometimes it may take more
time. Use the AC adapter when
recovering data. (Don’t turn
off the power when the data
recovery is in progress. The disc
may have a damage.)
 The data recovery may not be
successful according to the
power down timing.
 When recordings from the other
DVD Camcorders or recorders
are present on the disc, the data
recovery may not be successful.

Effacez l’image enregistrée.
Bad Disc! Lente Si le disque inséré n’
est pas reconnu par
le DVD caméscope.
Remplacer avec un nouveau disque.
Supprimez les images enregistrées.
Formatez le disque. (DVD-RW/+RW)
Finalized
disc!
Lente
Le disque est
finalisé.
Pour enregistrer sur un disque
DVD-RW/+RW vous devez
annuler la finalisation.
Cover is

Le couvercle est

Refermez le couvercle.

N’éjectez pas un disque alors que la
fonction de détection de disque est en
cours; cela interrompt la récupération
des données.
Suivez les directives affichées à l’
écran tout en observant les éléments
ci-dessous.
 La récupération des données
se termine en dedans de
quelquesminutes ; elle peut parfois
s’avérer plus longue. Utilisez l’
adaptateur de courant AC pour
la récupération de données. (N’
éteignez pas l’ appareil en cours de
récupération de données. Cela peut
endommager le disque.)
 En fonction du moment de la
mise hors tension, il se peut que
la récupération de données ne
réussisse pas.
 Si des enregistrements provenant
d’autres caméscopes DVD ou d’
autres graveurs sont présents sur le
disque, la récupération des données
peut s’avérer infructueuse.
