These splicing instructions apply:
-

For individually mounted main/feeder, utility or incoming

lug pull sections to individually mounted main/feeder, utility

or incoming lug pull sections

- For individually mounted main/feeder, utility, or incoming

lug pull sections to group-mounted distribution sections

Align the sections according to the drawings furnished by

the supplier for the particular installation.

To connect the splices first remove the ½”-13 bolt and

washers from the left hand connection as shown in Figure

12. Rotate each phase splice counterclockwise as shown in

Figures 13 and 14, starting with the rear most splice working

forward. With all splices for a specific phase in position, as

shown in Figure 15, insert the previously removed ½”-13

bolt and washers on each phase and torque accordingly.

Table 1 for torque values. See Figures 16 – 23 for

additional information based on bus ampacity.

Use the diagrams of Figures 12–21 for individually mounted

main/feeder, utility or incoming lug pull sections to

individually mounted main/feeder or utility sections. The

diagrams are divided into the following types:
