HOW TO USE
•
Place appliance on a flat level, dry and heat resistant surface.
•
Keep away from walls.
•
Ensure that area where appliance is being used is well ventilated.
•
Position stainless steel fondue pot (with ingredients in it) so that it lays flat on
the heating element.
•
Set temperature control to the “MIN” position. Plug the power cord into a 120 volt
AC wall outlet. Turn temperature control clockwise to “MAX” to heat ingredients
to desired temperature, approximately 300°F (150°F) for oil, 200°F (95°C) for
broth (this may take approximately 30 minutes. The temperature control may
be adjusted during cooking for optimal cooking results). When the preparation
reaches your desired temperature, pour into the stainless steel pot and
place over the base on the table.
Fondue (cheese, chocolate, broth or oil)
should be prepared on the stovetop first in a separate saucepan.
•
CAUTION: The pot is hot! Use oven mitts.
•
The heating element will turn off when the pre-set temperature has been reached,
signaled by the indicator light being off. The element will re-heat as the element
cools signaled by the indicator light being on.
•
When cooking is complete, set temperature control to the “OFF” position. Remove
plug from wall outlet.
•
DO NOT displace appliance until it is completely cooled. Remove fondue pot first,
before removing heating element.
PREPARATION TIPS
FOR mEAT / SEAFOOD FONDUE
Fondue pot and stand
1. Place the stand in the middle of your dining table.
2. Prepare broth or oil (peanut oil recommended) in a separate saucepan and
heat on stovetop. When ready, transfer broth or oil into the pot and place on
the stand.
Please take all cautions when transporting the fondue pot filled with hot oil and use oven mitts.
FOR CHEESE / CHOCOlATE FONDUE
If you have a model that is supplied with a stoneware cheese/chocolate double boiler insert, use as
follows for cheese or chocolate fondue:

1. Place the stand in the middle of your dining table.
