Other Convenient Functions
Zebra Pattern
Using the Zebra Pattern makes it easy to adjust the
brightness of the picture to an optimum level, even before
you start recording.
If you set [ZEBRA] on the Menu to [ON], diagonal white
bands (Zebra Pattern) appear in the Finder on parts of
the picture which are overexposed (extremely brightly
lighted and shiny subjects).
To prevent recording of overexposed, whitish pictures,
manually adjust the shutter speed (m 44) and/or iris/gain
(m 45) so that the Zebra Pattern disappears.
However, when recording a person wearing a white shirt,
adjust so that the Zebra Pattern over the face just
disappears but remains distinctly over the white shirt. If it
disappears over the white shirt, the picture becomes too
dark.
Of course, the Zebra Pattern is not recorded onto the
tape.
Autres fonction utiles
Image zébrée
La fonction image zébrée facilite le réglage de la
luminosité de l’image sur un niveau optimal, même en
début d’enregistrement.
Si l’élément [ZEBRA] du menu est réglé sur [ON], des
bandes blanches diagonales (image zébrée) apparaîtront
sur le viseur dans les zones surexposées de l’image
(sujets extrêmement lumineux ou brillants).
Pour empêcher l’enregistrement d’images surexposées
blanchâtres, régler la vitesse d’obturateur manuellement
(m 44) et/ou le diaphragme/gain (m 45) afin que l’image
zébrée disparaisse.
Cependant, lors de l’enregistrement d’une personne
portant une chemise blanche, effectuer le réglage de
façon à ce que l’image zébrée disparaisse du visage
mais reste visible sur la chemise blanche. Si l’image
zébrée disparaît de la chemise, l’image sera trop sombre.
Bien sûr, l’image zébrée ne sera pas enregistrée sur la bande.
