Searching for the End of the
Recorded Part on a Cassette
(Blank Search)
With the Blank Search Function, you can quickly locate
the end of the recorded part on a cassette (or a blank
part between recordings).

Press the [VCR/CAMERA] Button so
that the [VCR] Lamp lights.

Press the [MENU] Button.
The Menu appears.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select
[B.SEARCH].

Press the [PUSH] Dial to select [ON].
Approximately 1 second before the end of the last
recorded scene, the Camera Recorder switches over
to the Still Playback Mode.
¡ If there is no blank part on a cassette, the Camera
Recorder stops at the end of the tape.
¡ When the Blank Search has finished, you can press the
[VCR/CAMERA] Button so that the [CAMERA] Lamp
lights, and then start recording. The new scene is
recorded with a smooth transition from the last to the
new scene.
Recherche de la fin d’une partie
enregistrée sur une cassette
(Recherche d’espace vierge)
La fonction recherche d’espace vierge permet de repérer
rapidement la fin d’une partie enregistrée sur une
cassette (ou un intervalle vierge entre des
enregistrements).

Appuyer sur la touche [VCR/CAMERA]
de manière que le témoin [VCR]
s’allume.

Appuyer sur la touche [MENU].
Le menu apparaît.

Tourner la molette [PUSH] pour
sélectionner [B.SEARCH].

Appuyer sur la molette [PUSH] pour
sélectionner [ON].
Environ une seconde avant la fin de la dernière
séquence enregistrée, le caméscope passe au mode
image fixe.
¡ Si la cassette ne contient pas d’espace vierge, le
caméscope s’arrête à la fin de la bande.
¡ Une fois que la recherche d’espace vierge est
terminée, on peut appuyer sur la touche
[VCR/CAMERA] de manière que le témoin [CAMERA]
s’allume, puis commencer à enregistrer. La nouvelle
séquence est enregistrée avec une transition souple
entre la séquence précédente et la nouvelle séquence.
