DESCALING - DÉTARTRAGE
Warning! Never drink the descaling solution or any products dispensed until the cycle has
been fully carried out. Never use vinegar as a descaling solution.
When descaling is performed, someone must be present during the entire process (approx.
35 minutes). Do not stop the cycle until it is fully completed. Otherwise, the machine will stop
working properly. In this case repair is NOT covered by warranty.
Limescale normally builds up with the use of the appliance. When the light starts blinking, descaling
is needed.
Only use the Saeco descaling solution, which has been specifi cally designed
to comply with the technical specifi cations of the machine, in order to ensure
the machine performance will not decrease over time and to guarantee a safe
and risk-free use. The descaling solution is to be disposed of according to the
manufacturer’s instructions and/or the regulations in force in the country of use.
Note: before descaling cycle start-up, make sure that:
1 a large enough container is available;
2 the water fi lter (if supplied) has been removed.
Attention ! Ne pas boire la solution détartrante et les produits distribués jusqu'à la
conclusion du cycle. Ne jamais utiliser de vinaigre pour détartrer la machine.
Lorsqu'on procède au détartrage, il faut être présents pendant toute la durée du processus (35
minutes environ). Ne pas interrompre le cycle avant la fi n. Si cette opération n'est pas effectuée la
machine ne fonctionne plus correctement ; dans ce cas-là la réparation N'est PAS couverte par la
garantie.
La formation du calcaire est une conséquence naturelle entraînée par l’utilisation de l’appareil. Le
détartrage est nécessaire lorsque la DEL clignote.
N'utiliser que le détartrant Saeco qui a été conçu conformément aux caractéristiques techniques
de la machine, pour la continuité de ses performances dans le temps et dans le respect de la
sécurité de l’utilisateur. La solution détartrante doit être éliminée conformément à
ce qui est prévu par le fabricant et/ou par les normes en vigueur dans le Pays où la
machine est utilisée.
Remarque : avant de commencer le détartrage, s'assurer que :
1 le récipient a la bonne dimension ;
2 le fi ltre à eau, si présent, a été enlevé.
