Water Requirements

The water supply for non-heated models can be tap or purified water. An existing
hot water supply may be used as the water source. Though not required, Labconco
recommends the inlet water temperature be greater than 120°F (49°C). Hotter
water will produce better washing results but should not exceed 140°F (60°C).

The heated models have and additional water inlet valve to allow for connection
to a purified water source. A 3/8" (9.6 mm) O.D. x 6’ (1.8m) long polyethylene
tube is attached to the rear of the ScrubAir Pipette Washer/Dryer (marked “P”) for
connection to a dedicated pure water source. This tube can be shortened as
required, a shut off valve is recommended.
