Playing an MD Playing a Specific Track
Ç You can adjust the analog signal level output to the LINE
(ANALOG) OUT jacks and the PHONES jack
1 While the deck is pl.i\ ing, press LLVEL/DISI’LAT'/CHAR (or
DISI’LAT ) repe<ttedl\' until the line output udjustment dispkiy
appears.
2 Turn AMS (or press LEVEL +/- repeatedly) to adjust the
output signal le\ el.
Ç You can use Setup Menu to adjust the analog output level
While the deck is plat’ing, select "Août" in Setup Menu.
Note
W'hen
YOU eject the MD or turn off the deck, the output le\ el is
reset to the fachrrv setting (0.0 dB).
While the dock is playing or stopped, use the procedure
below to cpiickly play any track.

Locating a track with AMS*
To go to Do the following:
The next or a succeeding
track during play Turn AMS clockwise (or press
►►1 repeatedly).
A preceding track during
play Turn AMS counterclockwise (or
press repeatedly).
The beginning of the current
track during play Turn AMS counterclockwise (or
press
f« once).
A specific track while the
deck is stopped Turn AMS (or press /► ► !
repeatedly) until the track
number you want to go to flashes
in the display, then press AMS or
l>.

Q To locate the last track of the MD quickly
While the deck is stopped, turn AMS counterclockwise (or press
once).
Q If you locate a track while the deck is stopped or paused
The deck will still be stopped or paused at the beginning of the
located track.
