switched outlets; when you turn your preamp off, the AVU1500 will power
off all the switched outlets. It’s much easier to turn on your preamp and
automatically trigger your amplifier and subwoofer to power on (as well as
any other device plugged into a switched outlet), instead of having to turn
on (and off) each and every device one by one.
Note: To avoid loud and damaging speaker “thumps” created when the
amplifier voltage is stabilizing, the order in which the switched outlets turn
on will be automatically reversed when the switched outlets power off:

Dimmer
You can select one of five display brightness levels: high, medium, medium
low, low, and off. Each time you press the front panel’s “Dimmer” button,
the display will take one step forward through these five levels:

You can also press and hold the “Dimmer” button and every half-second
the display will automatically take one step forward through the five
brightness levels. When you release the button, the display will remain at
the selected brightness level.
