Chapter 6 : THE GENLOCK FUNCTION
6-1. INTRODUCTION
The genlock function allows to synchronize many video equipment in order to mix images together (i.e.: to overlay
graphic image onto incoming video).

c Set the genlock load under Hi-Z if the genlock output is used (INPUT MENU>Genlock load>Hi-Z). If not, set it
under 75Ω.
d Adjust the horizontal (line) phase between the Black burst generator and the output (PAL or NTSC), has to be
equivalent to 0. Make the adjustment with the LCD menu (INPUT MENU>Genlock H ph).
e Adjust the Subcarrier phase between the Black burst generator and the output (PAL or NTSC), has to be equivalent
to 0. Make the adjustment with the LCD menu (INPUT MENU>Genlock SC. ph).
