Playing a Specific Track

You can adjust the analog signal level output to the LINE

(ANALOG) OUT jacks and the PHONES jack

1 While the deck is playing, press LEVEL/DISPLAY/CHAR (or

DISPLAY) repeatedly until the line output adjustment display

appears.

2 Turn AMS (or press LEVEL +/- repeatedly) to adjust the

output signal level.

9 You can use Setup Menu to adjust the analog output level

While the deck is playing, select "Août" in Setup Menu.

Note

When you eject the MD or turn off the deck, the output level is
reset to the factory setting (0.0 dB).

While the deck is playing or stopped, use the procedure
below to quickly play any track.

Turn AMS clockwise (or press

Turn AMS counterclockwise (or
press repeatedly).

The beginning of the current
track during play

Turn AMS counterclockwise (or
press once).

A specific track while the
detk is stopped

Turn AMS (or press /►«
repeatedly) until the track
number you want to go to flashes
in the display, then press AMS or

O.

A specific track by scanning
each track for six to twenty
seconds (Music Scan) U

Press M.SCAN before you start
playing. When you find the
track you want, press 1> to start
playing.

9 To locate the last track of the MD quickly

While the deck is stopped, turn AMS counterclockwise (or press

once).

9 If you locate a track while the deck is stopped or paused

The deck will still be stopped or paused at the beginning of the

located track.
