Connecting external antennas

External AM antenna
Use 5–6 meters of vinyl-insulated wire and set up either
indoors (A) or outdoors (B). Leave the AM loop antenna
connected.
External FM antenna
Use 75

Ω coaxial cable to hook up an external FM

antenna(C).

Connecting the power

Before connecting the power and switching on for the
first time make sure that everything is connected up
properly.

1 Plug one end of the supplied power cord

into the AC INLET.

2 Plug the other end into a household

power outlet.

Connecting other components

Use a stereo RCA cord to connect the
analog outputs of an external component
to the LINE IN jacks on the back of this
unit.
This will allow you to play the component through this
system.
