Before Using Your
quesadilla Maker
For The First Time
1. Carefully unpack the Quesadilla Maker.
2. Wipe all surfaces with a slightly damp, soft cloth. NEVER immerse
unit in water.
3. Before preheating the Quesadilla Maker, the Cooking
Plates may be brushed with a small amount of vegetable oil. This
helps to protect the non-stick surface. You may wish to repeat this
procedure periodically.
4. Set the appliance on a clean, dry and flat surface, where it can be
easily plugged into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
5. To preheat the Quesadilla Maker: close the Lid and plug
cord into electrical outlet. Both the Red Power/ON Indicator Light
and Green Ready (Cook) Light will illuminate, and the unit will
immediately begin heating. NEVER OPERATE THE APPLIANCE
UNATTENDED. Allow the unit to preheat for approximately 5
minutes. The Green Ready (Cook) Light will turn off when the unit
has reached cooking temperature.
6. Gently raise the Quesadilla Maker Lid using a pot
holder/oven mitt. Always grasp Lid with a pot holder/oven mitt when
raising and lowering Lid. As with any new appliance, you may
notice smoke and a slight odor when unit is used for the first time
while residues burn off the Cooking Plates and heating element.
Allow the Quesadilla Maker to heat until smoke and odor
dissipate.
NOTE: Some odor may still be detected during initial use; this is
normal and should disappear after one or two uses.
How To Use Your
quesadilla Maker
1. Check to ensure that the Cooking Plates are clean and free from
dust and food particles. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth.
2. When using the Quesadilla Maker for the first time, lightly
brush the Cooking Plates with vegetable oil.
3. Close the Lid.

APPAREIL À QUESADILLA
1. Déballer soigneusement le FOUR À QUESADILLA .
2. Essuyer toutes les surfaces avec un chif fon doux légèrement
humide. Ne JAMAIS plonger le four dans l’eau.
3. Avant de préchauf fer L’APP AREILÀ QUESADILLA , les plaques
de cuisson peuvent être badigeonnées d’un peu d’huile végétale.
Cela contribue à protéger les sur faces antiadhésives. L’application
peut être répétée périodiquement.
4. Placer l’appareil sur une sur face plate, propr e et sèche, où il pourra
facilement être branché à une prise de courant de 120 V CA.
5. Pour préchauffer L ’APPAREIL À QUESADILLA: fer mer le
couvercle et brancher le cor don dans la prise électrique. Les
indicateurs lumineux rouge (Mar che) et vert (Cuisson) s’allumer ont
et le four commencera immédiatement à chauffer . NE JAMAIS
LAISSER L’APP AREIL EN MARCHE SANS SURVEILLANCE. Laisser
le four chauffer envir on 5 minutes. Lorsque le four a atteint la
température de cuisson, l’indicateur lumineux ver t (Cuisson) s’éteint.
6. Soulever doucement le couvercle du FOUR À QUESADILLAà
l’aide d’une poignée isolante ou de gants de cuisine. T oujours
utiliser une poignée isolante ou des gants de cuisine pour soulever
ou abaisser le couvercle. Comme pour tout appar eil neuf, il se peut
que le four émette un peu de fumée ou une légère odeur lors de sa
premièr e utilisation alors que des résidus brûlent sous les plaques
de cuisson ou sur l’élément chauffant. Laisser L ’APPAREIL À
QUESADILLAchauf fer jusqu’à ce que la fumée et l’odeur se
dissipent.
REMARQUE : Il se peut qu’une légère odeur pers iste lors de la
première utilisation,ce qui est normal. L ’odeur
disparaîtra après une ou deux utilisations.
COMMENT UTILISER V OTRE
APPAREIL À QUESADILLA
1. S’assurer que les plaques de cuisson sont pr opres, sans
poussières ni par ticules d’aliments. Les essuyer au besoin avec un
chiffon humide.
2. Lors de la premièr e utilisation du FOUR À QUESADILLA ,
badigeonner légèrement les plaques de cuisson avec de l’huile
végétale.
3. Fermer le couver cle.
