3. If you are using an adjustable
sampler, adjust the puncture depth
setting as needed.
4. Cock the lancing device.
5. Use warm, soapy water to wash your
hands. Dry them thoroughly. To increase
blood flow to the fingertips, massage
your hand two or three times from
wrist to fingertips.
6. Press the blue power button to turn
on the meter. The display check appears
briefly. Carefully check that all symbols
appear. Your last test result appears
next. (If this is your first test, – – –
appears instead.)
