Corrective action

• Check the exhaust vents and

remove any blocking objects.

• The lamp life may be near its

end. Consult your dealer.

• Check that the side panel of the

is fixed firmly. Consult your dealer.

• Open the internal shutter by

pressing the remote control unit’s
SHUTTER OFF button.

• Consult you dealer to replace the

light-source lamp.

• Check the exhaust vents and

intake area, and remove any
blocking objects.
Turn off the MAIN POWER switch
and wait until the projector cools
down, and turn on the MAIN
POWER switch again.
If the error code is still indicated,
consult your dealer.

• Check the room temperature and

ventilate the room.

• There may be something wrong

in the light-source lamp unit.

and unplug the power cord, then
consult your dealer.

Cause

• The temperature of the light-source

lamp is abnormally high.

• The light-source lamp cannot be turned

on.

• The side panel of the projector is

broken away.

• The internal shutter is activated.

• The lamp life may be near its end.

(“80” for 900 hours, “81” for 1000
hours)

• The internal temperature of the

projector is abnormally high.

• The room temperature is too high to

operate the projector correctly.

• The lamp is turned off while projecting.

• An internal error has occurred.
