C* What is a V.C. (Variable Coefficient) filter?
A variable coofticiont filter changes the sound characteristics of a
signal by apph’ing specific frequency cut-off conditions. Such
filters are provided on digital devices such as CD players and
MD decks to renioc e aliasing noise.
Note
The change in sound characteristics caused by digital filters occur
mainly in the inaudible range, not the audible range as in the case
of an amplifier.
