Frame recording and field recording

With frame recording, the image of one camera is
recorded in two fields, and after leaving a fixed
interval, the image of the next camera is recorded.
With field recording, the image of one camera is
recorded in one field, and after leaving half of the
interval for frame recording, the image of the next
camera is recorded.
The gaps between the recorded images are shorter
which enables the cameras to be switched in half the
time taken by frame recording.
