Lights up the respective indicator when the

Lights up when dynamic range compression is
activated (page 101).

Lights up when the measurement results of the
“Auto Calibration” function are applied.

X UPDATE

Lights up when a new software is available

(page 81).

Y Dolby Pro Logic indicator

Lights up the respective indicator when the
receiver performs Dolby Pro Logic processing.
This matrix surround decoding technology can
enhance input signals.

Lights up when the disc being played back
contains an LFE (Low Frequency Effect)
channel and the LFE channel signal is actually
being reproduced.

wj Playback channel indicator

The letters (L, C, R, etc.) indicate the channels
being played back. Based on the speaker
settings, the box around the letter(s) vary to
show how the receiver downmixes the source
sound.
