16. Outside the power supply, slide the Strain Relief Dome Nut onto the Strain Relief. Thread the Dome Nut onto the Strain
Relief securely by hand. Test for a secure connection to the Torch Leads or ATC Adapter Leads.
17. Close the Power Supply Access Door.
18. For installations using the ATC Adapter, align the torch leads male connector with the ATC Adapter female receptacle.
Push the male connector into the female receptacle. The connectors should push together with a very small amount of
pressure. Secure the connection by turning the locking nut clockwise until it stops. DO NOT use the locking nut to pull
the connection together. Do not use tools to secure the connection.

NOTE
When switching between Hand and Machine torches, the adapter wiring connections must be changed as noted in
earlier Illustrations even with a torch equipped with an ATC connector.
19. Check the torch for proper consumable parts.

The torch parts must correspond with the type of operation. Refer to the Torch Manual for details.
