3. Secure the Trigger Guard to the Torch Handle using
the supplied screw and acorn nut. (see NOTE).
Tighten the hardware securely.
WARNING
Do not hang the torch by the Guard.

General Information
The Trigger Guards are available in short and long ver-
sions. The Trigger Guards provide additional protection
for the torch handle and trigger switch. The guards pro-
vide excellent protection from heat and sparks when used
for gouging applications.
The Trigger Guard Kits fit Thermal Dynamics Model SL60
and SL100 hand torches.
These instructions are supplied to ensure the proper in-
stallation of the Trigger Guard Kit. It is recommended to
thoroughly read the instructions first, before attempting
the installation of the kit.

Installation Procedures
Refer to the appropriate section for the Trigger Guard to
be installed.
WARNING
Disconnect primary input power at the source be-
fore starting the installation of this kit.
A. Short Trigger Guard Installation
Install the Short Trigger Guard as follows:
1. Refer to the illustration. Remove the screws located
at the bottom-front of the Torch Handle. Discard these
screws.
2. Place the Trigger Guard on the Torch Handle.
