FRONT PANEL FACILITIES
OPERATION OF DECK I WITH A
REMOTE CONTROL UNIT NOT
DESIGNED FOR DOUBLE DECKS
(System remote control)
Selecting DECK I
In order to operate DECK I with the remote control
unit, adjust the unit as follows: With the power off,
press and hold the stop (
7) button of DECK I, and turn
the power on. Continue to hold the stop (
7) button for
approximately five seconds. DECK I can now be
operated using the remote control unit, but DECK II
cannot.
Switching to DECK II
To restore remote control operation to DECK II, press
the stop (
7) button of DECK II while DECK II is in stop
mode. DECK II can now be operated using the remote
control unit. Remote control operation can be switched
back and forth between decks by pressing the stop
button of the desired DECK while it is in stop mode.
NOTE:
If a power failure or a sudden change in the power
supply (caused by lightning, etc.) occurs, the unit is
reset to its original state. Only DECK II can be operated
by remote control. To restore operation to either deck,
repeat the above procedure from the beginning.
FUNCTION DISPLAY
1 DECK I tape transport mode indicators
÷ See page 14.
2 Synchro copy indicator (COPY)
Indicator lights steadily : Copying at normal speed.
Indicator flashes : Copying at double speed.
3 Level meter
÷ The Ÿ between the " 0 " and " -3 " marks
indicates the reference level for the Dolby
NR system.
4 DECK II tape transport mode indicators

COMMANDE DU PANNEAU AVANT
UTILISATION DE LA PLATINE I
AVEC UNE TELECOMMANDE
NON CONCUE POUR LES
DOUBLES PLATINES
(Fonctionnement de la télécommande)
Sélection de la Platine I
Pour commander la Platine I avec la télécommande,
ajuster celleci comme suit: L'alimentation étant coupée,
enfoncer et maintenir la touche d'arrêt (
7) de la Platine
I et mettre la télécommande sous tension. Continuer à
maintenir la touche d'arrêt (
7) pendant environ cinq
secondes. La Platine I peut maintenant être commandée
en utilisant la télécommande, mais la Platine II ne le
peut pas.
Pour passer à la Platine II
Pour rétablir le fonctionnement de al télécommande
pour la Platien II, enfoncer et maintenir la touche d'arrêt
(
7) de la Platine II alors que la Platine II est en mode
arrêt. La Platine II peut maintenant être commandée
en utilisant la télécommande. L'opération de la
télécommande peut être commutée entre les platines
en appuyant sur la touche d'arrêt de la platine désirée
pendant qu'elle se trouve en mode d'arrêt.
REMARQUE:
En cas de panne de courant ou de changement brusque
dans l'alimentation (provoqué par la foudre, etc.) l'unité
est rétablie à son état d'origine. Seule la Platine II peut
être commandée avec la télécommande. Pour rétablir
le fonctionnement pour l'autre platine, répéter la
procédure ci-dessus depuis le début.

1 Indicateur de mode de défilement de bande

2 Indicateur de copie synchrone (COPY)
L'indicateur s'allume en continu
: Copie à vitesse normale.
L'indicateur clignote
: Copie à deux fois la vitesse normale.
3 Niveau sonore
÷ Le Ÿ entre les chiffres „0“ et „–3“ indique le
niveau de référence pour le système de n° de Dolby.
