Playing in slow motion

In the pause or still picture play mode, press and
hold in the
or button.
• The speed changes each time the button is pressed
(the speed is indicated on the display). When the
STILL/STEP button is pressed during slow play,
the playing speed changes as follows:

1/8 1/4 1/2 1/16 ...
• Slow playback is not possible using the buttons on
the main unit’s front panel.
To resume normal playback
Press the
PLAY button.
Step forward and step
reverse

In the pause or still picture play mode, press the
or button.
• The picture moves a step forward or backward each
time the button is pressed.
To resume normal playback
Press the
PLAY button.
Playing repeatedly
(Repeat Play)
Use the procedure below to temporarily change the
repeat mode during playback.

Display the play mode screen.
The repeat play mode switches each time this button is
pressed. The types of modes to which the repeat play
mode switches depends on the
File Play Mode setting
(page 46).
•
All Repeat – Plays all the files repeatedly.
•
File Repeat – Plays the currently playing file
repeatedly.
•
Repeat Off – Turns the repeat function off.
Switch the repeat mode either by pressing the
PLAY
MODE button during playback or by selecting PLAY
MODE
REPEAT from the SETUP screen.
To cancel Repeat Play
• Press the
REPEAT button and select Repeat Off.
• During playback, press the
STOP button.
Note
• It may not be possible to cancel repeat playback even
by selecting
Repeat Off. In this case, stop playback,
then set
Repeat Mode (page 46).
• When playback is stopped, the setting that has been
changed here is canceled. Set the repeat mode to be
used normally at
Repeat Mode (page 46).
• This function cannot be used in the stop mode.
•
All Repeat cannot be selected when File Play Mode
is set to
Single (page 46).
• If
File Repeat is selected when File Play Mode is set
to
All, the File Repeat operation is given priority
(page 46).
