Note

• Only video signals with NTSC or PAL resolutions are

output from the

VIDEO OUT terminal. Set the output

using the

TV SYSTEM (NTSC, PAL) switch on this

unit’s rear panel (page 25).

• Video signals with the resolution set at

SETUP are

output from the

COMPONENT VIDEO OUT terminals

(set to 480/59.94i (North American model)/576/50i
(European model) upon shipment from factory). It is
not possible to output signals with a resolution
differing from the HDMI output (page 45).

• When

EDID is set to On and HDMI connections are

used, the HDMI output’s resolution setting has
priority, so the output resolution of the signals output
from the

COMPONENT VIDEO OUT terminals may

change automatically (page 45).

• When there is a display for monitoring, we

recommend connecting it to the

VIDEO OUT

terminal.

Connecting the DIGITAL
AUDIO OUT terminal

Note

• The following linear PCM signals can be output from

this unit’s

the

VIDEO OUT terminal.

Caution

• Use an STP cable for the LAN cable. Failure to do so

could result in serious electromagnetic problems.

Note

• The LAN indicator on front panel lights when

connected to the network (page 24).

• If

DHCP is set to TYPE in the network settings and

there is an available DHCP server on the connected
network, the IP address is obtained automatically. If
