About the maximum number of
characters

The number of characters displayed differs when
scrolling and when not scrolling. The number of
European characters (1-byte code) is calculated based on
the width of the letter “W”. This number includes spaces.

Type Select setting

This sets the type of playback for a new line.

Caution

• Once

Type Select is set, it cannot be changed. To

change it, first delete the line using the

Delete Line

command, then reset the line.
