Power On Start setting
This sets the operation after this unit is switched from the
status in which no power is being supplied to the status
in which power is supplied as well as the operation when
this unit’s power is turned on.

Display the Play Mode screen.
Press the
PLAY MODE button.
• The play mode screen can also be displayed by
selecting
Play Mode from the Setup screen.

Select Power On Start.
Use the
/ buttons to select, then press the ENTER
button.

Select the setting.
Use the
/ buttons to select, then press the ENTER
button.
•
Off – The standby mode is set when the power cord is
plugged into an outlet. Select this if you do not want
the power to turn on automatically.
•
On – The power turns on when the power cord is
plugged into an outlet. Playback does not start
automatically.
•
FilePlay – When the power is turned on, playback
automatically starts from the specified file. After this,
operation is the same as for normal playback.
•
Playlist – When the power is turned on, playback
automatically starts from the specified playlist.
If
FilePlay or Playlist is selected, select the file or playlist
to be played.
When started from the standby mode, the same operation
is performed whether this is set to
Off or On.
