LCD Display – Fault Messages

The LCD display (1, Fig. 5.1) indicates the following fault messages when SCC-30AB
stops operating.

Heat sink temperature exceeds 90°C.

Low Battery Voltage

< 9V for 12V Battery

< 18V for 24V Battery

1. Batteries are discharged below the minimum

acceptable level, or

2. DIP Switch 1 is set for 24V battery but the battery is 12V.

Alarm: CPF09

Heat Sink SR Open

Low operating

temperature

Operating temperature of the unit is below the

specified limit of 0°C or 32°F.

Battery Temperature

Sensor (BTS) displays:

- - - 0°C

Battery temperature

is below 0°C

1. Lower limit of temperature compensation is 0°C.

2. Negative values can not be displayed.

The back of the unit (Fig 5.2) has the following input / output connections and DIP
