Playing back a tape
ZERO MEMORY
✤ The MEMORY function works in both CAMERA and
PLAYER modes.
✤ You can mark a point on a tape that you want to
return to following playback.
1. Press the ZERO MEMORY button on the remote control
during playback or recording at the point you want to
return to later.
■ The time code is changed to a tape counter that is set
to zero memory with the
M (Zero memory indicator)
■ If you want to cancel the zero memory function,
press the ZERO MEMORY button again.
2. Find the zero position.
■ When you have finished playback, fast forward or
rewind the tape.
–
The tape stops automatically when it reaches the
zero position.
■ When you have finished recording, turn the power
switch PLAYER and press the (REW) button.
–
The tape stops automatically when it reaches the
zero position.
3. The tape counter with the M (Zero memory indicator) disappears from
the display and the tape counter is changed to time code.

■ In the following situations, the ZERO MEMORY mode may be canceled
automatically
–
At the end of the section marked with the ZERO MEMORY function.
– When the tape is ejected.
– When you remove the battery pack or power supply.
■ The zero mem may not function correctly where there is a break
between recordings on the tape.
■ The ZERO MEMORY will not operate in DV IN mode.

Mode mémoire compteur (ZERO MEMORY)
✤ Cette fonction est disponible en mode caméscope et
magnétoscope.
✤ Vous pouvez marquer sur la bande l'endroit où vous
voulez vous repositionner après la lecture.
1. Pendant la lecture ou l’enregistrement, appuyez sur la
touche ZERO MEMORY de la télécommande à l’endroit
que vous voulez retrouver plus tard.
■ L'affichage de la date ou de l'heure disparaît et fait
place à un compteur à zéro précédé de l'indicateur .
■ Pour désactiver le mode mémoire compteur, appuyez
de nouveau sur ZERO MEMORY.
2. Remise à zéro.
■ A la fin de la lecture, faites avancer ou rembobinez
la bande.
– La bande s'arrête automatiquement lorsque le
compteur atteint 0:00:00.
■ Lorsque l’enregistrement est fini, placez le
commutateur sur PLAYER et appuyez sur la touche
(REW).
– La bande s'arrête automatiquement lorsque le
compteur atteint 0:00:00.
3. L'indicateur de mémoire compteur disparaît de
l’écran et la date/heure s'affiche à nouveau.
Important
■ Le mode mémoire compteur peut être désactivé automatiquement
dans les cas suivants :
– Après le retour à la position zéro.
– Lors de l’éjection de la cassette.
– Lors d’un changement de position du commutateur principal ou
lors de la mise hors tension de l’appareil.
■ Le mode mémoire compteur peut ne pas fonctionner correctement
s’il existe des blancs entre les enregistrements de la cassette.
■ La fonction ZERO MEMORY n'est pas disponible en mode DV IN.
