● AUDIO MODE
✤ The AUDIO MODE function works in CAMERA mode only.
✤ This camcorder records the sound in two ways. (12BIT, 16BIT)
■ 12BIT: You can record two 12bit stereo sound tracks.
The original stereo sound can be recorded onto the
MAIN (SOUND1) track.
Additional stereo sound can be dubbed onto the SUB
(SOUND2) track.
■ 16BIT: You can record one high quality stereo sound using the
16bit recording mode.
Audio dubbing is not possible when using this mode.
1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode.
2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
■ The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight AUDIO
MODE.
4. To select the AUDIO MODE, press the ENTER button.
■ The AUDIO MODE switches between 12BIT-16BIT with each
press.
5. To exit, press the MENU ON/OFF button.

● Mode AUDIO
✤ Cette fonction est disponible en mode caméscope uniquement.
✤ Ce caméscope peut enregistrer le son de deux manières
différentes (en 12 bits et 16 bits).
■ 12 BIT : vous pouvez enregistrer deux pistes sonores stéréo
12 bits. Le son stéréo original peut être enregistré sur
la piste principale et des sons supplémentaires sur la
piste secondaire.
■ 16 BIT : ce mode permet un enregistrement stéréo de haute
qualité. Cependant, dans ce mode, vous ne pourrez
pas réaliser de doublage.
1. Réglez le caméscope sur CAMERA.
2. Appuyez sur la touche MENU ON/OFF.
■ Le menu des fonctions apparaît.
3. A l'aide de la molette MENU, accédez à
la fonction AUDIO MODE.
4. Pour sélectionner AUDIO MODE, appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
■ La mention 12BIT ou 16BIT s'affiche tour à tour.
5. Pour sortir, appuyez sur MENU ON/OFF.
