● PIP (Picture-in-Picture)
✤ The PIP (Picture-in-Picture) function works in CAMERA mode only.
✤ The PIP feature works in combination with the various functions by
using a small, super imposed screen to show an original image
(Ex. Digital Zoom). This should help you to get a more clear idea
of what you are shooting.
1. Set the camcoder to CAMERA mode.
2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
■ The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight PIP.
4. To activate the PIP function, press the ENTER button.
■ The PIP menu is changed to ON.
■ If you do not want to use the PIP function, set the PIP menu to OFF.
5. To exit, press the MENU ON/OFF button.
Reference
■ When you use the PIP function, the PIP screen will be
recorded on the tape.
■ The PIP function will not operate in the DSE function.
■ If you set the SHUTTER to manual (1/8, 1/15, 1/30) in PIP mode,
the PIP will disappear.

● Image dans l'image (PIP)
✤ La fonction PIP (Image dans l'image) ne fonctionne qu’en
mode CAMERA.
✤ Le mode PIPfonctionne avec le mode Zoom numérique en
incrustant un petit écran qui montre une vue fidèle de l’image
filmée. Ceci doit vous permettre d’avoir une meilleure idée de
ce que vous êtes en train de tourner.
1. Réglez le caméscope sur CAMERA.
2. Appuyez sur la touche MENU ON/OFF.
■ Le menu des fonctions s’affiche.
3. A l’aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez
la fonction PIP.
4. Pour activer la fonction PIP, appuyez sur la touche
ENTER.
■ L'option PIP passe sur ON.
■ Pour ne plus utiliser la fonction PIP, sélectionnez
OFF dans le menu PIP.
5. Pour sortir du mode menu, appuyez sur MENU ON/OFF.
Important
■ L’écran PIP est enregistré sur la bande s’il est affiché pendant le tour-
nage.
■ La fonction PIP ne fonctionne pas en mode DSE
(effets spéciaux numériques).
■ Si dans le mode PIP (Image dans l'image), vous réglez la fonction
SHUTTER sur la position manuelle (1/6, 1/13, 1/25), l'écran PIP
disparaît automatiquement.
