Set this option to
• ON to display a picture recorded in wide
mode (16:9) on a standard monitor (4:3).
DSR-30: Black bands appear at the top
and the bottom of the screen and the
screen looks wide.
DSR-30P: Black band appears at the
bottom of the screen and the screen looks
wide.
• OFF to display a picture recorded in wide
mode (16:9) on a wide-screen TV (16:9).
• ON to display the tape transport
indicators (
(, ), etc.) on the monitor
screen. The indicators disappear from the
screen automatically after about 3
seconds.
• OFF not to display the tape transport
indicators of the VCR on the screen.
When you use this VCR as a player
during editing, set to “OFF” so that you
can prevent the tape transport indicators
from being recorded on the recorder
VCR.
• ON to listen to the sound when playing
the tape frame-by-frame or at a slower
speed than normal.
• OFF to turn off the sound.
• ON to output a beep sound when an
illogical operation is made.
• OFF to deactivate it.
• ON to make the display window dim.
• OFF to make it brighter.
