Wash the Brew Group and the
fi lter and dry.
Press the PUSH button to remove
the Brew Group.
Insert the washed and dried Brew
Group. DO NOT PRESS THE
“PUSH” BUTTON.
Make sure the Brew Group is in
rest position; the two references
must match.
CLEANING THE BREW GROUP
Make sure the components are in
the correct position.The hook
shown must be in the correct
position; to check its position,
fi rmly press the “PUSH” button.
The lever on the rear part of the
group must be in contact with
the group base.
The Brew Group must be cleaned at least once a week. Before removing the group, remove the coffee
grounds drawer as shown in on page 25.
Wash the Brew Group with lukewarm water.
Lubricate the Brew Group after approximately 500 brewing cycles. The Brew Group lubricant can be
purchased through Saeco or authorized service centres.
WARNING! Do not wash the Brew Group with harsh or abrasive detergents or chemicals which could
prevent it from operating correctly. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
Insert the coffee grounds drawer.
Close the service door.
Apply the lubricant evenly on both
side guides.
Lubricate the Brew Group guides
using the supplied lubricant.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
