fish and potatoes.

Times and cooking powers have been preprogrammed for
steaming a number of food types.

Popcorn

Do not use regular paper bags or glassware.

Pop only 1 package of popcorn at a time.

Follow manufacturer’s instructions when using a microwave
popcorn popper.

Listen for popping to slow to 1 pop every 1 or 2 seconds,
then stop the cycle. Do not repop unpopped kernels.

For best results, use fresh bags of popcorn.

Cooking results may vary by brand and fat content.

Popping time has been preset based on commercially packaged
microwave popcorn. The oven is preset for the 3.5 oz (99 g) size,
but can be changed.

The microwave oven uses the sensor to determine the size of
the popcorn bag being popped. Bags between 1.75 oz (50 g)
and 3.5 oz (99 g) can be popped.

To Pop Popcorn:

1. Press POPCORN. “Popcorn” will scroll in the upper text area.

2. Press START.

“Sensing” will appear on the display. When the stop time is
reached, the oven will shut off automatically. If enabled, end-
of-cycle tones will sound.

3. Press CANCEL (or CANCEL UPPER on combo models) to

turn off the oven.

Boil & Simmer

Boil & Simmer is a sensor function, and uses only microwaves to
simmer your food.

Follow recommended water and food amounts that appear
on the display.

For best cooking results, do not use plastic wrap as a cover
during the Boil & Simmer cycle.

Do not remove the lid while the dish is still in the oven, as the
rush of steam will disrupt the sensor readings.

Use a microwave-safe dish with a loose fitting lid.

Use the following chart as a guide.
