Engine stop button — Press and hold the engine stop but-

ton to turn the engine off.
Front brake lever — The front brake can be applied by

squeezing the front brake lever.
Fuel valve This vehicle has one manually operated fuel

valve featuring 3 positions.
In the ON position, fuel is allowed to flow into the carburetor

when the engine is running or being started.
In the OFF position, fuel is shut off from the carburetor. The

fuel valve needs to be placed in this position when the dirt

bike is not in use.
If the fuel level in the tank becomes too low for the engine to

run while in the ON position, turn the fuel valve to RESERVE.

This will allow the engine to begin using the reserve fuel

supply. There is approximately 1 liter of fuel left in the tank

in the reserve position. Refuel as soon as possible and then

place the fuel valve back in the ON position.

Fuel tank cap To open the fuel tank cap, turn the cap

counterclockwise. To close, turn the cap clockwise and

tighten it securely.
Ignition switch (if equipped) The ignition switch is used

for starting and stopping the engine.
Kick start lever Depress the kick start lever to start the

engine.
Manual choke lever — When engine is cold, place the choke

lever in the ON position. When engine has warmed up, move

lever back to the OFF position.
Rear brake pedal — The rear brake can be applied by de-

pressing the brake pedal.
Throttle grip Controls engine and dirt bike speed. Ro-

tate the throttle grip backward (toward operator) to increase

engine and dirt bike speed. Rotate the throttle grip forward

(away from operator) to decrease engine and dirt bike speed.
