•Charge the battery pack before using it
for the first time.

Attach the battery pack.
O Insert the guides on the battery
pack into the holes on the base
and the rear of the unit.
@ Slide the pack so it clicks and
locks into place.
^ Recharge the battery pack.
Connect to the household AC outlet while
the battery pack is attached (• page 10).
•The battery pack can only be recharged
when the unit is off,
•Refer to “IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS" on pages 6 and 7.
Recharging is complete when [CHG]
goes out
