✤ The Wind Cut function works in both Camera and Player (Audio dubbing)
modes.
Use the Wind Cut when recording in windy places such as the beach or near
buildings.
✤ The Wind Cut function minimizes wind noise or other noise while recording.
- When the wind cut is on, some low pitched tones sounds are eliminated
along with the sound of the wind.the sound of the wind.
1. Set the Power switch to CAMERA or PLAYER.
2. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
3. Press the MENU button.
■ The menu list will appear.
4. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select Record,
then press the Menu selector.
5. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select Wind
Cut, then press the Menu selector.
6. To activate the Wind Cut function, move the Menu selector to
the left or right to select On, then press the Menu selector.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.
■ Wind Cut ( ) icon will be displayed.

Make sure Wind Cut is set to off when you want the
microphone to be as sensitive as possible.

✤ La fonction Wind Cut <Coupe Vent> peut être activée en mode Camera
<Caméra> comme en mode Player <Lecteur> (post-sonorisation).
Utilisez la fonction Wind Cut <Coupe Vent> lorsque vous enregistrez dans
des endroits exposés au vent (plage, par exemple) ou près de bâtiments.
✤ La fonction Wind Cut <Coupe Vent> diminue le bruit du vent ou d’autres
bruits pendant l’enregistrement.
- Lorsque la fonction Suppression du bruit du vent est activée, certains
bruits très faibles sont éliminés en même temps que le bruit du vent.
1. Placez l’interrupteur Power sur CAMERA ou PLAYER.
2. Placez l’interrupteur Mode sur TAPE.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
■ La liste des menus apparaît.
4. Déplacez le bouton Menu selector vers la gauche ou
vers la droite pour sélectionner Record
<Enregistrement> puis appuyez sur Menu selector.
5. Déplacez le bouton Menu selector vers la droite ou vers
la gauche pour sélectionner Wind Cut <Coupe Vent>
puis appuyez sur Menu selector.
6. Pour activer la fonction Wind Cut <Coupe Vent>,
déplacez le bouton Menu selector vers la droite ou la
gauche pour sélectionner On <Marche>.
Appuyez ensuite sur Menu selector.
7. Pour quitter le menu, appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
■ L’icône de suppression du bruit du vent ( )
s’affiche.
[ Remarque ]
Assurez-vous que la fonction Wind Cut <Coupe Vent> est
désactivée lorsque vous souhaitez que le microphone soit le
plus sensible possible.
