Basic Recording
Making your First Recording
1. Connect a power source to the
Camcorder. (see page 20)
(A Battery pack or a AC Power
adapter) Insert a cassette. (see page
36)
2. Remove the Lens cover.
3. Set the Power switch to CAMERA.
■ Open the LCD screen.
■ Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
Make sure that STBY is displayed.
■ If the write protection tab of the
cassette is open(set to save), STOP
and Protection! will be displayed.
Release the write protection tab to
record.
■ Make sure the image you want to record appears on the LCD screen or
Viewfinder.
■ Make sure the battery level indicates that there is enough remaining power
for your expected recording time.
4. To start recording, press the Start/Stop button.
■ REC ● is displayed on the LCD screen.
To stop recording, press the Start/Stop button again.
■ STBY is displayed on the LCD screen.
[ Note ]
Detach the Battery pack when you are finished recording to prevent
unnecessary battery power consumption.

Enregistrement simple
Réalisation de votre premier enregistrement
1. Branchez votre caméscope sur une
source d’alimentation. (voir page 20)
(Batterie ou adaptateur CA.) Insérez
une cassette. (voir page 36)
2. Retirez le cache-objectif.
3. Placez l’interrupteur Power sur
CAMERA.
■ Déployez l’écran ACL.
■ Placez l’interrupteur Mode sur
TAPE.
Assurez-vous que le témoin STBY
<Pause> apparaît à l’écran.
■ Si le volet de protection en écriture
de la cassette est ouvert (position
de sauvegarde), STOP et
Protection ! s’affichent. Refermez
le volet de protection en écriture
pour pouvoir enregistrer.
■ Assurez-vous que la scène que vous souhaitez enregistrer apparaît sur
l’écran ACL ou dans le viseur.
■ Assurez-vous que le voyant de la batterie indique qu’il reste assez
d’énergie pour la durée d’enregistrement prévue.
4. Pour commencer l’enregistrement, appuyez sur le bouton Start/Stop.
■ Le témoin REC <ENR.> ● s’affiche sur l’écran ACL.
Pour arrêter l’enregistrement, appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton Start/Stop.
■ STBY <Pause> apparaît sur l’écran ACL.
[ Remarque ]
Enlevez la batterie lorsque l’enregistrement est terminé pour prévenir la
consommation d’énergie de la batterie.
