7. Install the Barrier [1] over the top of the straps,
positioning it as shown in Figure 26 and securing it in
place with a screw [2] and flat washer [16]. Tighten
the screw to 27–32 in-lb.
8. Install circuit breakers. For main breaker operation,
position the device so that the load- or OFF -side
terminals rest on the straps and the line side is
supported by the mounting bracket, as shown in
Figure 27. Breakers are marked to indicate the line
and load sides. For single-branch operation, mount
the breaker so that the line- or
ON -side terminals rest
on the straps and the load side rests on the mounting
bracket, as shown in Figure 28.
Align the holes in the breaker housing with the
corresponding holes in the mounting bracket. Fasten
the breaker to the bracket with the machine screws
[15] and flat washers [17] and tighten to 50 in-lb.
Attach the breaker terminals to the threaded holes in
the straps with the bolts [13] and conical washers [11].
Tighten each terminal to 75 in-lb.
NOTE: Straps may require minor adjustments
for proper hole alignment.

7. Installer la barrière [1] sur le haut des brides, en la
positionnant tel que montré à la Figure 26 et en la
fixant en place avec une vis [2] et une rondelle plate
[16]. Serrer la vis à 27-32 po.-lb.

8. Installer les disjoncteurs. Pour une opération de
disjoncteur de principal, positionner le mécanisme
de manière à ce que les terminaux du côté charge –
ou le côté OFF reposent sur les brides et que le côté
ligne soit supportée par le support de fixation, tel que
montré à la Figure 27. Les disjoncteurs sont identifiés
pour marquer les côtés ligne et charge. Pour une
opération à dérivation simple, assembler le
disjoncteur de manière à ce que les terminaux du
côté ligne- ou le côté On- reposent sur les brides et
que le côté charge repose sur le support de fixation,
tel que montré à la Figure 28.
