7. Position the middle log behind
the burner pan, lining up the holes
with the 4 studs, ensuring the
log is fl at against the base. Place
2 pins into the left and right top
holes. 8. Position the left crossover log
over the pins in the left side of the
middle and rear logs. 9. Position the middle crossover
log onto the middle pin of the rear
log. Rest the end of the log into
the notch of the middle log.
10. Position the right crossover log
over the pins in the right side of
the middle and rear logs. Place a
pin in the top of the log. 11. Position the small middle
crossover log on the right crossover
log pin. Resting the other end on
the middle log as shown.
4.6 BATTERY INSTALLATION
4 AA batteries must be installed into the receiver before operation
is possible. The receiver is located in the bottom left corner of the
appliance.
If receiver removal is necessary, remove the left access panel from the front
of the appliance. Remove the 2 screws holding the receiver in place. Pull
the receiver through the access hole and replace.

12. Tear the ember material into
small pieces and spread on top of
the front burner pan. Do not block
the burner ports.
