Troubleshooting Dépannage
✤ Before contacting a Samsung authorized service center, perform
the following simple checks.
They may save you the time and expense of an unnecessary call.

Moisture Condensation
✤ If the camcorder is brought directly from a cold place to a warm
place, moisture may condense inside the camcorder,
on the surface of the tape, or on the lens. In this condition, the
tape may stick to the head drum and be damaged or the unit
may not operate correctly.
To prevent possible damage under these circumstances, the
camcorder is fitted with a moisture sensor.
✤ If there is moisture inside the camcorder, (DEW) is
displayed. If this happens, none of the functions except
cassette ejection will work.
Open the cassette compartment and remove the battery.
Leave the camcorder for at least two hours in a dry warm
room.

✤ Avant de contacter le service après-vente Samsung, effectuez les
vérifications simples suivantes.

Condensation
✤ Si le caméscope est déplacé directement d’un endroit frais à
un endroit chaud, de la condensation peut se former à
l’intérieur ou sur la surface de la bande ou de l’objectif. Dans
ce cas, la bande peut coller aux têtes vidéo et s’abîmer ou
l’appareil peut fonctionner incorrectement.
Pour éviter tout dommage, le caméscope est équipé d’un
détecteur de condensation.
✤ Lorsque de la condensation se forme à l’intérieur du
caméscope, (DEW)
s’affiche. Dans ce cas, aucune
fonction ne peut être utilisée, à l’exception de l’option d’éjection
de la cassette. Ouvrez le compartiment à cassette, enlevez le
bloc batterie et laissez le caméscope pendant deux heures
minimum dans un endroit sec et chaud.

Le bloc batterie est presque
déchargé.
Changez de batterie.
Le temps restant sur la bande
est d’environ 2 minutes. Préparez une nouvelle cas-
sette.
La fin de la bande a été atteinte. Changez de cassette.
Il n’y a pas de bande dans le
caméscope.
Insérez une cassette.
La bande est protégée contre
l’enregistrement.
Pour enregistrer, retirez la
protection.
De la condensation s’est
formée dans le caméscope. Voir ci-dessous.
Le caméscope a un problème
mécanique. 1. Éjectez la cassette.
2. Éteignez le caméscope.
3. Retirez la batterie.
4. Remettez-la en place.
* Contactez un revendeur si le
problème persiste.
