After Finishing a Recording
Usable Cassette Tapes
✤ At the end of a recording you must remove the power
source.
✤ When recording with a Battery Pack, leaving the pack
on the Camcorder can reduce the life span of the
battery.
The Battery Pack should be release after recording is
completed.
1. Open the Cassette door while sliding the [TAPE
EJECT] switch in the direction or the arrow.
■ Pull the cassette compartment out automatically.
■ Please wait while the tape is completely ejected.
2. After removing the tape, close the door and store the
Camcorder in a dust free environment.
Dust and other foreign materials can cause square-
shaped noise or jerky images.
3. Set the [Power] switch to the [OFF].
4. Disconnect the power source or remove the Battery
Pack. Press the [BATTERY RELEASE] switch located
on the bottom of the Camcorder and slide the Battery
Pack in the direction of the arrow.
When you have recorded something that you wish to keep,
you can protect it so that it will not be accidentally erased.
a. Protecting a tape: Push the safety tab on the cassette
so that the hole is uncovered.
b. Removing the tape protection:
If you no longer wish to keep the recording on the
cassette, push the safety tab back so that
it covers the hole.
How to store a tape
a. Avoid places with magnets or magnetic interference.
b. Avoid humidity and dust prone places.
c. Keep the tape in an upright position and avoid storing it
in direct sunlight.
d. Avoid dropping or knocking your tapes.

✤ Une fois un enregistrement terminé, vous devez retirer la
source d’alimentation.
✤ En cas d’enregistrement avec une batterie, si vous laissez
celle-ci reliée au caméscope, cela peut réduire la durée de
vie de la batterie.
La batterie doit être retirée une fois l’enregistrement terminé.
1. Ouvrez la portière de la cassette tout en glissant
l’interrupteur [TAPE EJECT] dans la direction de la flèche.
■ Le compartiment de la cassette se retire
automatiquement.
■ Veuillez patienter quelques instants jusqu’à l’éjection
complète de la cassette.
2. Une fois la cassette retirée, fermez le volet et stockez le
caméscope à l’abri de la poussière.
La poussière ou d’autres corps étrangers peuvent
entraîner des images affectées de parasites aux formes
carrées ou des images intermittentes.
3. Placez l’interrupteur [Power] sur [OFF].
4. Débranchez la source d’alimentation ou retirez la batterie.
Appuyez sur l’interrupteur [BATTERY RELEASE] situé sur
la face inférieure du caméscope et faites glisser la batterie
dans la direction de la flèche.
Lorsque vous avez enregistré une séquence que vous
souhaitez conserver, vous pouvez la protéger d’une éventuelle
suppression accidentelle.
a. Protection d’une cassette : poussez la languette de
protection en écriture de la cassette afin de dégager
l’ouverture sous-jacente.
b. Retrait de la protection en écriture de la cassette :
lorsque vous ne voulez plus conserver un enregistrement,
repoussez la languette de protection en écriture de la
cassette afin d’obturer l’ouverture.
Conditions de conservation des cassettes
a. Evitez la proximité d’aimants ou les interférences
magnétiques.
b. Evitez les endroits humides ou poussiéreux.
c. Conservez la cassette en position verticale et ne la stockez
pas dans un endroit exposé à la lumière directe du soleil.
d. Evitez de faire tomber ou de cogner vos cassettes.
