Playback Lecture
VOICE + Function
✤ The Voice+ function works only in <Player> mode.

✤ When you want to play back or record a tape-
recorded movie on other AV device, you can
transfer the voice sound incoming from the internal
microphone of your camcorder, instead of the audio
signals on a pre-recorded tape.
1. Connect the provided Audio/Video Cable to the AV
Jack of the Camcorder.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the VCR/DVD
Recorder/TV by matching the colors of the
terminals.
3. Set the [Power] switch to [PLAYER].
4. Set the [Mode] switch to [TAPE].
(SC-D375(H)/D975 only)
5. Insert the tape you wish to play back in this
camcorder.
6. Press the [Start/Stop] button on a point where you
want during the playback.
■ Voice+ icon ( ) is displayed on the screen
and <VOICE+> will flicker on the screen for a while.
■ Sound incoming from the internal microphone will be
transferred to the connected AV device, instead of the
pre-recorded sound on a tape.
7. To cancel the function, press the [Start/Stop] button again.
[ Notes ]
■ VOICE+ is available only when the Audio/Video cable is
connected. If other cable (DV cable or USB cable (SC-
D375(H)/D975 only)) is connected, VOICE+ function may not
operate properly.
■ If you perform [ ■ (STOP)], [√ √ ❙❙ (PLAY/STILL)], [œ œœ œ (REW)] or
[√ √√ √ (FF)] button when you operate Voice+ function, Voice+
function will be deactivated.
■ During the VOICE+ process, the functions of [MENU]
button or [PHOTO] button do not work.
■ The VOICE+ function does not affect the original sound on the
recorded tape.
■ Sound is transferred from the internal microphone on this
camcorder to the connected AV device, when using the Voice+
function. So take care that this microphone is not blocked.
■ Adjust the sound volume on the connected external device.
( TV, etc.)
■ Howling may occur near the speaker of an external device,
please keep the camcorder at a distance from the external
device.
■ Before connecting, make sure that the volume on the external device is turned
down: forgetting this may cause howling from the external device's speakers.

✤ Lorsque vous souhaitez lire ou enregistrer une
bande vidéo sur un autre dispositif AV, il vous est
possible de transférer la bande sonore du
microphone intégré de votre caméscope plutôt que
les signaux audio d’une cassette enregistrée.
1. Raccordez le câble AV (compris) à la prise AV du
caméscope.
2. Branchez l'autre extrémité du câble sur l'enregistreur
DVD / magnétoscope en respectant les couleurs des
bornes.
3. Placez l’interrupteur [Power] sur [PLAYER].
4. Placez l’interrupteur [Mode] sur [TAPE].
(modèles SC-D375(H)/D975 uniquement)
5. Insérez la cassette que vous souhaitez lire dans le
caméscope.
6. Appuyez sur la touche [Start/Stop] à un point donné
durant la lecture.
■ L’icône Voice+ ( ) s’affiche à l’écran et
<VOICE+> clignote momentanément.
■ Le son du microphone intégré sera transféré vers
le dispositif AV raccordé plutôt que le son de la
cassette enregistrée.
7. Pour annuler la fonction, appuyez de nouveau sur la touche
[Start/Stop].
[Remarques]
■ VOICE+ n’est disponible que lorsque le câble AV est raccordé.
Si un autre câble (DV ou USB (modèles SC-D375(H)/D975
uniquement)) y est raccordé, la fonction VOICE+ pourrait ne
pas fonctionner.
■ Si vous activez les touches [ ■ (STOP)], [√ √ ❙❙ (PLAY/STILL)], [œ œœ œ
(REW)] or [√ √√ √ (FF)] durant l’utilisation de la fonction Voice+,
elle se désactive.
■ Durant l’utilisation de VOICE+, les fonctions des touches
[MENU] et [PHOTO] sont désactivées.
■ La fonction VOICE+ n’affecte pas la bande sonore originale de
la cassette enregistrée.
■ Lorsque vous utilisez la fonction Voice+, le son est transféré du
microphone intégré du caméscope vers le dispositif AV
raccordé. Veillez donc à ce que le micro ne soit pas bloqué.
■ Réglez le volume sonore du dispositif AV raccordé. ( TV, etc.)
■ La proximité d’un haut-parleur périphérique peut provoquer un
ronronnement ou sifflement ; veuillez tenir le caméscope
éloigné du périphérique.
■ Veillez à ce que le volume du périphérique soit baissé avant
d’en effectuer le raccordement : cet oubli peut provoquer un
ronronnement provenant des haut-parleurs du périphérique.
