7) Troubleshooting
7.1 Pump is not operating
• Ensure pump is plugged into a properly grounded and operational outlet. Outlet should
be GFI protected. Ensure that the GFI outlet has not reset due to ambient moisture. Press
“Test” and then “Reset” on the GFI outlet.
• Ensure Solids Handling Impeller is able to move freely. The impeller should be able
to move with some effort inside the pump housing. If it is jammed with debris, follow
instructions under Routine Maintenance to expose and check the Impeller.
7.2 Reduced flow from pump
• Ensure that the Upper Pump Housing and the Lower Pump Housing is free of
leaves and debris.
• Check pipe and plumbing for any possible kinks or blockages.
