MAKINGYOURFIRSTRECORDING
1. Connect a power source to the
camcorder. ➥page 17

2. Remove the lens cover.
3. Slide the POWER switch downwards to
turn on the power.
Open the LCD screen.
Set the Selectswitch to CARD or
TAPE. (VP-D385( i ) only)
Press the MODE button to set
Camera( ).
- Make sure that STBY is displayed.
If the write protection tab of the cassette is open (set to save),
STOP and "Protection!" will be displayed. Release the write
protection tab to record.
Make sure the image you want to record appears on the LCD screen.
Make sure the battery level indicates that there is enough
remaining power for your expected recording time.
You can select a record mode of your choice.

4. To start recording, press the Recordingstart/stop
button.
"REC●" is displayed on the LCD screen.
To stop recording, press the Recordingstart/
stop button again.
"STBY" is displayed on the LCD screen.
Eject the battery pack when you finish the recordings to
prevent unnecessary battery power consumption.
The miniDV camcorder provides two Recordingstart/stop
buttons. One is on the rear side of the camcorder and
the other one is on the LCD panel. Select the Recording
start/stop button according to the use.

2.Retirez le cache-objectif.
3.Faites glisser l'interrupteur POWER vers le
bas pour éteindre l'appareil.
Déployez l'écran LCD.
Réglez l'interrupteur de sélection
sur CARD ou TAPE. (VP-D385(i)
uniquement)
Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour
sélectionner le mode Camera(Cam)( ).
- Assurez-vous que le témoin STBYapparaît à l'écran.
Si le volet de protection en écriture de la cassette est ouvert (position
d'enregistrement), STOP et "Protection!"s'affichent à l'écran.
Refermez le volet de protection en écriture pour pouvoir enregistrer.
Assurez-vous que la scène que vous souhaitez enregistrer apparaît
sur l'écran LCD.
Assurez-vous que le voyant de la batterie indique qu'il reste assez
d'énergie pour la durée d'enregistrement prévue.

4. Pour commencer l'enregistrement, appuyez sur le
bouton Début/fin d'enregistrement.
"REC(ENR)●" s'affiche sur l'écran LCD.
Pour arrêter l'enregistrement, appuyez à nouveau
sur le bouton Début/fin d'enregistrement.
"STBY(PAUSE)" s'affiche sur l'écran LCD.
Éjectez le bloc de batteries une fois les enregistrements
terminés pour éviter toute consommation électrique non
nécessaire.
Le caméscope Mini-DV est doté de deux boutons Début/fin
d'enregistrement. L'un se trouve à l'arrière du caméscope
et l'autre se situe sur la façade LCD. Sélectionnez le bouton
adéquat selon l'utilisation en cours.
