✤ The DIS function works only in Camera mode.
✤ DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) is a function that compensates for any shaking
or hand movement while holding the Camcorder (within reasonable limits).
✤ It provides more stable pictures when:
- Recording with the zoom (DIS is not available in Digital Zoom mode.)
- Recording a small object close-up
- Recording and walking at the same time
- Recording through the window of a vehicle
1. Set the Power switch to CAMERA.
2. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
(SC-D353/D354/D355 only)
3. Press the MENU button.
■ The menu list will appear.
4. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select
Camera, then press the Menu selector.
5. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select DIS,
then press the Menu selector.
6. To activate the DIS function, move the Menu selector to
the left or right to select On, then press the Menu
selector.
■ If you do not want to use the DIS function, set the DIS
menu to Off.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.
■ DIS( ) icon is displayed on the LCD screen.
[ Notes ]
■ Digital Zoom, COLOR NITE SHUTTER, 16:9 Wide,
Emboss2, Pastel2, Mirror or Mosaic is not available in the
DIS mode.
■ When you press the PHOTO button while the DIS
function is enabled, the DIS will be released shortly and
resume automatically after the photo recording.

Setting the Digital Image Stabilizer (DIS)
✤ Le stabilisateur d’image numérique (DIS) ne fonctionne qu’en mode Camera.
✤ Le DIS permet de compenser, dans des limites raisonnables, les tremblements
ou les mouvements de vos mains lorsque vous tenez le caméscope.
✤ Il permet d’obtenir des images plus stables lors d’un :
- enregistrement à l’aide du zoom ; (La fonction DIS n’est pas disponible en
mode Digital Zoom <Zoom Num.>.)
- enregistrement d’un petit objet en gros plan ;
- enregistrement tout en marchant ;
- enregistrement par la fenêtre d’un véhicule.
1. Placez l’interrupteur Power sur CAMERA.
2. Placez l’interrupteur Mode sur TAPE.
(modèles SC-D353/D354/D355 uniquement)
3. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
■ La liste des menus apparaît.
4. Déplacez le bouton Menu selector vers la gauche ou
vers la droite pour sélectionner Camera <Caméra> puis
appuyez sur Menu selector.
5. Déplacez le bouton Menu selector vers la gauche ou
vers la droite pour sélectionner DIS puis appuyez sur
Menu selector.
6. Pour activer le DIS, déplacez le bouton Menu selector
vers la droite ou la gauche pour sélectionner On
<Marche>. Appuyez ensuite sur Menu selector.
■ Si vous ne souhaitez pas utiliser le DIS, sélectionnez
Off <Arrêt> dans le menu correspondant.
7. Pour quitter le menu, appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
■ L’icône DIS ( ) s’affiche sur l’écran ACL.
[ Remarques ]
■ Les modes Digital Zoom <Zoom Num.>, COLOR NITE
SHUTTER, 16:9 Wide <16:9>, Emboss2 <Relief2>, Pastel2
<Pastel2>, Mirror <Miroir> et Mosaic <Mosaïque> ne sont
pas disponibles en mode DIS.
■ Si vous appuyez sur le bouton PHOTO lorsque la fonction
DIS est active, cette dernière se désactive brièvement avant
d’être réactivée automatiquement une fois la photo prise.
