LOCA TING YOUR CDMC-6 SY STEM
For best results, mount the CDMC-6 system in the middle of your sp ace or room, or
on a wall or support structure opposite CO2 enrichment equipment. Do not locate
system in the immediate vicinity of CO2 equipment.
Protect system from foliar sprays and irrigation moisture. Corrosion resulting from
these activities may void warranty.
Ensure proper air circulation throughout the space.
SET-UP INSTR UCTIONS
1. Plug the CDDS-2 into a surge protector (850 joules min) and plug the surge protector
into a wall socket.
(OR, plug the CDDS-2 into an atmospheric controller with CO 2 override. The
atmospheric controller should be plugged into a surge protector and the surge
protector plugged into the wall).
2. Turn the unit on (push red ‘POWER’ button).
3. Press the ‘SET’ button once to select the ‘Set Point’ mode (‘Set Point’ indicator light
should now be lit).
4. Using the ‘UP’ and ‘DOWN’ buttons, set desired ‘Set Point’ (CO2 PPM you want to
maintain in your sp ace).
5. Press the ‘SET’ button again to select the ‘Hysteresis’ mode (‘Hysteresis indicator light
should now be lit).
6. Using the ‘UP’ and ‘DOWN’ buttons, set desired ‘Hysteresis’ (50-200 recommended) .
7. Press and hold the ‘SET‘ and ‘SENSOR’ buttons for 5 seconds until all of yellow
indicator lights blink and the current elevation flashes on the LED display .
8. Using the ‘UP’ and ‘DOWN’ buttons, set the ‘Elevation’ of your town or region.
9. Using the patch cord provided, connect the CDM-6000 to the CDDS-2.
10. Choose your mode of operation (‘Venting’ or ‘Enrichment’) by pressing and holding
down the ‘MODE’ button on the CDDS-2 until the indicator light for that mode is lit.
11. Plug CO 2 or exhaust equipment into the right side of the CDDS-2.
12. Allow 12-24 hours for the system to adjust to conditions and size of the environment.
Shut off or minimize ventilation during adjustment period. Return ventilation to normal
after the 24-hour period.
YOU MUST ALL OW YOUR CDMC-6 SY STEM A MINIMUM OF 12 HOURS
(24 IS BEST) TO LEARN THE SPA CE AND ENSURE PEAK PERFORMANCE
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Mount the systems on a wall or support structure.
Do not operate system when wet and keep out of direct sprays from foliar applications
and irrigation moisture. Do not allow the CDM-6000 sensor to get wet.
System is not intended for outdoor use.
If using an extension power cable (extension cord), do not exceed 25 feet in length,
and ensure that the total amperage rating of the equipment plugged in to the
extension cable does not exceed the amperage rating of the cable or controller.
Follow all set-up and re-setting instructions and calibration procedures explicitly to
avoid safety hazards and protect you and your equipment.
Do not insert objects into the vent s on the sides of the CDM-6000. Doing so could
short out the interior components and create a safety hazard. This will void the
warranty.

EMPLACEMENT DE VOTRE SYSTÈME CDMC-6
Pour les meilleurs résultats, montez le système CDMC-6 au milieu de votre espace ou de votre
pièce, ou sur un mur ou une structure de support du côté opposé de l’équipement
d’enrichissement de CO2. Ne placez pas le système près de l’équipement de CO2.
Protégez le système des pulvérisations foliaires et de l’humidité d’irrigation. La corrosion
découlant de ces activités pourrait annuler la garantie.
Assurez une bonne circulation d’air dans l’ensemble de l’espace.
INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION
1. Branchez le CDDS-2 dans un limiteur de surtension (850 joules min) et branchez le limiteur de
surtension dans une prise murale.
(OU, branchez le CDDS-2 dans un contrôleur climatique à surpassement de CO2. Le
contrôleur climatique devrait être branché dans un limiteur de surtension branché au mur).
2. Mettez l’appareil en marche (poussez sur le bouton « COURANT »).
3. Enfoncez le bouton « RÉGLER » une fois pour choisir le mode « point de consigne » (le voyant
du « point de consigne » devrait maintenant être allumé).
4. Utilisez les boutons « HAUT » et « BAS » et réglez le « point de consigne » voulu (CO2 PPM
que vous désirez maintenir dans votre espace).
5. Enfoncez le bouton « RÉGLER » à nouveau pour choisir le mode « hystérésis » (le voyant «
hystérésis » devrait maintenant être allumé).
6. Utilisez les boutons « HAUT » et « BAS » et réglez l’ « hystérésis » voulue (50 à 200
recommandée).
7. Enfoncez et gardez les boutons « RÉGLER » et « DÉTECTEUR » enfoncés pendant 5
secondes jusqu’à ce que tous les voyants jaunes clignotent et que l’élévation de courant
clignote sur l’affichage DEL.
8. Utilisez les boutons « HAUT » et « BAS » et réglez l’« élévation » de votre ville ou de votre
région.
9. Utilisez le cordon de raccordement fourni, connectez le CDM-6000 au CDDS-2.
10. Choisissez votre mode de fonctionnement (« aération » ou « enrichissement ») en enfonçant
et tenant enfoncé le bouton « MODE » sur le CDDS-2 jusqu’à ce que le voyant de ce mode
s’allume.
11. Branchez l’équipement de CO2 ou d’échappement du côté droit du CDDS-2.
12. Allouez de 12 à 24 heures pour que le système s’ajuste aux conditions et à la taille de
l’environnement. Éteignez ou réduisez l’aération durant la période d’ajustement. Remettez
l’aération à la normale après la période de 24 heures.

INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
Montez l’appareil au mur ou à une structure de soutien.
Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil lorsqu’il est humide et gardez-le hors des pulvérisations
directes des applications foliaires et de l’humidité d’irrigation. Ne laissez pas le détecteur du
CDM-6000 se mouiller.
Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé à l’extérieur.
Si vous utilisez une rallonge, ne dépassez pas 7,6 mètres de longueur et assurez-vous que
l’ampérage total de l’équipement branché dans la rallonge ne dépasse pas l’ampérage nominal
du câble ou du contrôleur.
Suivez toutes les instructions d’installation et de réinitialisation et les procédures d’étalonnage
explicitement pour éviter les dangers de sécurité et protéger votre équipement et vous-même.
N’insérez aucun objet dans les évents sur les côtés du CDM-6000. Ceci pourrait court-circuiter
les composants intérieurs et créer un danger de sécurité. Ceci annulera la garantie.
